ZORICA MATIĆ

ARTIST AND RESEARCHER
Zorica Matić, artist and researcher, lives and works in Paris. She founded the Association "Les Idées Lumières" which aims to develop and promote the culture of light. 

Within this, she is developing "The Research Observatory of Cultural Practices Related to Light". "Rituals of Light" is her personal line of research; between tradition and modernity, she seeks to highlight their social impact in our contemporary societies. Her digital work "Symbolism Of Light" is the manifesto of her approach. It contains definitions of the light in 124 characters.

Finally, she is a Goodwill Ambassador for an International Day of Light, which is currently in development with UNESCO. She considers light as a universal language, and social link.
