"Light is something like raindrops -- each little lump of light is called a photon -- and if the light is all one color, all the "raindrops" are the same size.“ Richard P. Feynman, QED: The Strange Theory of Light and Matter
In 2016 we spun the color wheel and immersed ourselves in the spectrum of diverse knowledge and experiences. We have explored different angles, directions and points of view, driven by a great desire to discover the opposites that may be complementary – light as art vs light as science vs lighting design.
We had an opportunity to present the multifaceted scientific exhibition "Spectrum" which displayed the wavelengths of light from its visible to invisible nature, followed by the lectures and debates of eminent national and international speakers. Inspired by the exhibition and the theory of spectrum, the workshop "Shimmering" was traditionally devoted to the youngest creative visitors.
