ALEKSANDRA STRATIMIROVIĆ / founder and creative director
Aleksandra is an artist and a lighting designer. She graduated in Applied Arts and Design from the University of Arts in Belgrade and completed her studies in specialized lighting design at Konstfack, the University College of Arts, Crafts, and Design and KTH – Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. She is the co-founder of the Lighting Guerrilla Festival in Ljubljana, Slovenia, a core member of Transnational Lighting Detectives and founder of the Belgrade branch of Lighting Detectives. She is a guest lecturer and tutor at several cultural institutions and universities worldwide. Her studio is based in Stockholm. www.strati.se

ANA ANAKIJEV / project coordinator
Ana graduated in 2012 from the Faculty of Philosophy – University of Belgrade, Art History Department. In 2015 she completed her master’s degree in project management at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade. Ana is engaged in independent research of stage design, lighting design and visual experiments in contemporary art practice, as well in studies of the management in not-for-profit organizations. She works as a freelance art historian.

DEJAN MOJIĆ / project coordinator
Dejan graduated in 2011 from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Architecture, Department for Architectural Design. His further professional experience continues in Latin America, Ecuador, Quito. He graduates in 2013 from the University of Tokyo, School of Engineering, Department of Architecture, while specializing in computational architecture and advanced methodologies in design and digital fabrication. His research in Japan was presented at the Princeton University, USA, 2012. Employed in the Toronto-based company CS&P Architects, Dejan’s research focuses on multifaceted application of bio-inspired solar architectures.

SANDRA ĐUKIĆ / designer
Having graduated in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design in 2010 from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Sandra acquired an MA in Visual Communication at the Royal College of Art, London. She seeks interest and motivation in various visual forms (graphic/product design, illustration, photography, architecture, film/video) as ways of expressing perceptions and engaging in society. MILICA KOMLENIĆ / creative associate
Milica Komlenić a Belgrade based designer. She has graduated in 2002 from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Applied Arts, Department of Interior Architecture. Milica obtained her master’s degree in the field of lighting in architecture at the University Studiengänge Hochschule in Wismar (Germany). In Berlin, Athens and Belgrade her professional engagement included lighting design in theatres and architecture. She is the co-author of many urban lighting projects in the City of Belgrade and was engaged in realization of several lighting student workshops. Her thematic orientation involves, as well, photography and video production.
BELGRADE LIGHTING DETECTIVES
Belgrade Lighting Detectives were established in 2006 as the seventh “lighting branch office” of the Transnational Lighting Detectives. Founded in 1990 by Japanese lighting designer Kaoru Mende. This international non-profit group is dedicated to the study of lighting culture. Today the group has branches in Tokyo, Singapore, Beijing, Taipei, Hamburg, New York, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Mexico City and Madrid, assembling thousands of light enthusiasts. Belgrade Lighting Detectives are active in the organization of the Belgrade of Light event and in numerous educational workshops that involve professionals and non-professionals of all ages. Results and activities of Belgrade Lighting Detectives have so far been presented at symposiums in Singapore 2006, in Copenhagen 2007, in Beijing 2009, in Bangkok 2012, in Taipei 2013, and at Luminale, Frankfurt in 2016, Tokyo 2017, Santiago-Chile 2018.

MARIJA JOKSIMOVIĆ / PR & Community manager
Marija studied journalism at the Faculty of Culture and Media, John Naisbitt University. After seven years of experience in daily journalism, she decided to go freelance in a desire for bigger freedom and creativity in written expression, but also to gain experience as a PR. Her articles have been published in numerous domestic and foreign magazines and websites, and she also has experience as an editor. Along the way, she realized that social media are an excellent way to tell great stories about incredible people and amazing events. Always in pursuit for the right words.
VOJISLAV GELEVSKI / photographer
Vojislav graduated at the Academy of arts in Belgrade as cinematographer in 2012. He also works as a photographer. Working on both fields constantly opens up new possibilities and ways of manipulating with light. Along the way, the passion for scenic lighting design came in. From November 2016 he will attend Master Academic Studies in Scenic Architecture and Design at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences.
MILICA RADOVIĆ / assistant coordinator
She ended her basic architectural studies in 2016 at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade. Currently, on the second year of master academic studies in architecture, Structural Engineering at the Architectural Department. She works with analogue and digital photography, computer processing photos and graphic design. Thus far, participated in a couple of workshops that are not part of the faculty.
CULTURAL FRONT BELGRADE
The Cultural Front is an independent institution established in Belgrade in 2000. CF’s programmes are based on an international exchange of programmes, co-production on the European level, treating the media as a free field for expression, commissioning and promoting young artists, and advocating the rights of socially marginalized individuals and groups. Cultural Front encourages constructive cooperation and debate between the civil society and power structures, and generally promoting culture as an integral part of wider social and economic development on the national and regional levels.
