NEVENA KOVAČEVIĆ

ARCHITECT AND LIGHTING DESIGNER
Nevena Kovacević is co-founder and managing director at Light Follows Behaviour. She has a background in naval architecture and a master’s degree in Architectural Lighting Design.

Throughout her career she has always focused on lighting. Nevena worked in Switzerland, Germany and Norway before co-founding Light Follows Behaviour in London in 2013.

In her work with Light Follows Behaviour Nevena focuses on using social texture and community as a medium for the design process. With over fifteen city master-planning projects developed, Nevena continues to stir urban lighting towards socially aware exterior and public realm projects with the aim of using light to engage, requalify, surprise and stimulate social interaction and enhance and complement architecture, whilst constantly observing social, cultural and local dynamics.

She is also the ambassador of the Social Light Movement (SLM) on a mission to bring lighting to less affluent communities.
