Presented in the authentic space of the Hidrotehnika Garage was the Orchestra of the Uncanny Valley Exhibition – an unusual performance in the form of video sculptures, involving three female mannequins and multiple translucent screens, work of artist Dinka Pignon who experiments with sound and video projection on novel objects in the field of intermedia art, spatial video installation and performance. As one of the five most influential contemporary art exhibitions in Vancouver in 2014, this production-wise very demanding exhibition also achieved great success in Belgrade. At different levels of perception of the real and virtual, human and almost-human in the digital era, questioning of the role of contemporary art in the society, the exhibition raised many questions and discussions that the author personally took part in.
